We are just over a week away from the start of the 2020-2021 school year (September 2) and we are so excited to be back with your children!
We are working closely with the Skamania County Health Department in order to get students back to in-person learning as quickly as it is safe to do so. Thanks to more of us masking up, keeping our distance, limiting our contact with others, and washing our hands, we are seeing our county virus counts declining, which is great news!
But we’re not there yet. We need your help to continue the decline so we can begin to bring students back to the classroom. The health department recommends that we remain in fully remote learning until we have seen a continuous, three-week decline in new COVID cases across Skamania County.
Please be mindful as you wrap up your summer and prepare for the start of the school year. Continue to wear your mask when in public, wash your hands, keep your distance and limit your contact with those outside your household. Taking these precautions now will impact our entire county for the better.
Stay tuned for tomorrow’s email with more information about childcare offered at the school.
We will continue to share more details on the 2020-2021 school year on our website. Please feel free to reach out to me with your questions at email@example.com.
