Remember to Vote – Replacement Levy – February 11
As many of you already know, Skamania School has an important measure on the ballot that will be voted on tomorrow, February 11. This is not a new tax, but simply the continuation of an existing tax.
The replacement levy measure fills the funding gap between the money the state provides for public education and the actual cost of operating a school district. The proposed levy for 2021-2023 will fund critical programs and services in our district that are not included in state-funded basic education such as school counseling services, music, PE, maintenance and operations, transportation, administrative support, and other certificated/classified positions.
Please remember to vote by February 11!

- February 24 – School Board meeting @ 6:30 PM
- March 10 – End of term – Early release

- March 16-20 – Parent conferences – Early release
Art Teacher Volunteer
Please welcome Lisa Sadewasser, our new art teacher volunteer. She comes every Tuesday to provide an art experience for all students. Lisa is a fine arts major at WSU. We are grateful that she is volunteering her time.
